Trena Blair GAICD is the Founder and CEO of FD Global Connections a Sydney-based consulting practice that helps businesses plan and deliver sustainable growth. She has more than 20 years of international executive experience across Australia and the United States. A qualified Non-Executive Director, Trena serves on the boards of Bartier Perry, where she chairs the Transformation and Innovation Committee, and FedCap Group, a global not-for-profit based in New York. She is the author of the international bestseller Decoding Global Growth: How Successful Companies Scale Globally, an international Stevie Award–winning business leader, and a lecturer at the University of Sydney’s Centre for Continuing Education.
For more than a decade, Trena has worked with over 150 founders, CEOs and boards of small and mid-sized businesses. She guides them from growth-readiness assessment through to strategy, execution and scale. She has designed structured capability programs for Austrade, growing businesses, including a governance and risk program developed with Mastercard.
