Maria Konecsny is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Gewürzhaus, the pioneering self-scoop spice retailer she launched in Carlton, Melbourne in 2010 alongside her sister (and mother), now operating 16 stores across Australia. Raised on German family traditions of cooking and baking, Maria blends her passion for home-style culinary heritage with creative entrepreneurship to nurture a vibrant, sensory spice experience for home cooks.
Rowan Watson, CEO of The Proplab Group
Rowan is the CEO of The Proplab Group which houses the brands SGUA, PIP & Allstate Underwriting. The business focuses on insurance products for Landlords, Holiday Properties, Business & Farm. Rowan has been involved in the business over the past decade focusing on sustainable growth through an ever evolving and complex industry. He has helped expand the business from a small operation of less than 10 staff to almost 100, broadening out the capabilities through existing and newly established departments.
