Boris Bosnich is a highly regarded company director and investor with over 25 years of experience in business ownership, board roles and private equity markets. Boris’ expertise and skill set covers:
- Venture development
- Design and implementation of growth strategies
- Capital raising – primarily growth capital
- Commercialisation, and
- Corporate governance
Following a successful 15-year career with a leading global logistics organisation, Boris jointly established in 2001 what was to become one of Australia’s largest privately held recruitment companies – Challenge Recruitment. Through successful organic and acquisitive growth strategies, Challenge Recruitment grew to revenues in excess of AUD $200m p.a. with over 3,500 employees. Boris sold his interest in the business in 2008 as part of an ASX IPO. It was during his time in leading Challenge that Boris was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Boris’ current business ventures and senior board roles include:
- SILK Laser Clinics – Executive Chair
- Orthopaedics SA – Chairman
- Kid Sense Child Development – Chairman
He also holds directorships and provides advisory services to a handful of growth orientated SME’s and start-up companies in the United States and Australia. Boris is currently managing a range of venture development projects and capital raisings to accelerate growth strategy execution. These businesses span a diverse range of industries: Enviro-Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Commodity Trading and Aquaculture. Boris is a pragmatic and commercially minded strategic thinker, with a keen interest in developing an organisation’s human capital potential and bringing great ideas and innovation to reality. Boris holds a Bachelor of Economics degree (University of Adelaide) and an MBA (University of South Australia). He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Adjunct Industry Fellow at the University of South Australia.
