The Approach

Richard left the Growth Clinic with a better understanding of what he needed to do, i.e., get the plan out of his head and down on paper, and communicate his plan to others on the team.
During the nine-month Growth Modules, Richard strengthened sales and marketing, integrated financial and project management software, began meeting regularly with the team to set growth goals and measure progress.
The Growth Modules and the follow-on Accelerate and Scale Program helped Richard identify the people required to take the business to the next level as well as those who were not performing at the level required to grow the company.
He also decided that, in order to reduce his risk, he needed to diversify the business, so he set up the luxury home building business, as well as the project marketing business and created the holding company, RILOW Group.
Once he and the team had all the pieces in place, it became easy to focus on the company goals and execute.
By the end of the Accelerate and Scale, RILOW had developed a solid growth plan for the next three years, was exploring several construction innovations, and was well on its way to success.
